Paper and Asphalt (Part 12)

You were already tense when you got to my garage.

You tried to hide it- spine too straight, hands too still, like the nerves didn’t bleed through the silk of your blouse and the press of your jaw.

You had not slept. Not well.

Not since the sound hit you in the coffee shop.

Since the engine cut across your car like a blade and your phone blinked open without your touch.

You had been spiraling in silence.

And tonight, you came here like it might save you.

Like I might save you.

I didn’t say a word at first. Just opened the door, stepped back, and let you enter on your own- bare legs, tight throat, that exact shade of lipstick you wore the first time you visited my place.

I didn’t touch you.

I watched you move into the room like your bones were loud.

And then I stood in place for just a moment, “Everything okay?”

You blinked, not expecting softness. Not expecting that.

“You seem, off?” I added, slower.

You wrapped one arm around your waist, as if a little shield you built when your truth is too close to the surface.

You looked up at me. Not defensive. Not afraid, just exposed.

And you began to say it without really saying it, “I just don’t really understand what you’re doing with all my data.”

Your voice was even. But the break was not in the words.

It was in the pause.

“I don’t understand what you’re doing with me.”

There it was.

The real question.

The one you were trying not to ask.

What are we?

Where do we stand?

Is this just another experiment in a black box, or am I something you're building for yourself?

I didn’t answer right away.

I just stepped closer. I watched you breathe through it.

Then I took a bottle of wine and two glasses from the kitchen island. Poured them both, and handed you one. I handed it with fingers that lingered just a breath too long.

You took the glass and brought it to your lips. The first taste of the wine hitting your tongue- dark. Red. Dry. Measured. The same wine as the night I first sprawled you out over the kitchen island.

I touched the small of your back.

Not to guide.

Only just to remind.

Your body reacted, a faint shiver as my fingers trailed off.

I walked into the living room. Sat down on the edge of the leather couch and left my back to you.

The soft glow of the fireplace danced across the walls, shadows shifting like they were listening. A low hum of music threaded through the room, slipping between the crackle of burning wood. The scent of cedar and warmed leather curled into your lungs- rich, familiar, impossible to separate from me at this point.

Beside me on the end table, a box waited.

I leaned over my shoulder, finding your gaze still on me, and when I spoke, it wasn’t a question. “Come here.”

You followed and joined me on the couch.

I set my wine down on the coffee table and reached for the small, flat box beside it and held it for a moment before lifting the lid slowly.

Inside- an anklet.

Simple. Clean. Brushed black steel, cool to the touch, with a single gold filament running its edge.

You blinked down at it- brows knit, not quite questioning.

Because you were still carrying your earlier words like an exposed wire humming under your skin.

So I answered. Not flippantly. Not kindly. Just clean.

“I’m helping you fulfill your fantasies.”

The words landed like silk stretched over wire. Delicate. Dangerous. And I didn’t soften them.

“And you’re helping me fulfill mine.”

Then I moved.

Dropped to my knees in front of you. Slow. Purposeful.

Your eyes caught as my hands slid over your ankles. I undid the strap of your left heel first. Unbuckled. Slid it off. Set it aside with care.

Then the right.

The leather left a faint indent across the top of your foot- a mark I traced with my thumb before lowering my mouth.

One kiss. Bare. Slow. Just beneath your ankle bone.

Then another, higher, where your calf began to tense under my breath.

My lips followed that path inch by inch, warm and reverent, “We are… partners,” I said. “As it stands.”

Then I let the pause hang. Just long enough to make you brace.

“But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying our time together more than that.”

And then, softly, like you couldn’t help yourself, “Your fantasies?” A beat. “What do you mean? What are you trying to get from them?”

I paused, lifted my lips from your skin and looked up. A small sigh slipped from my lips, “They have something that doesn’t belong to them.”

“And this thing they have, it’s worth a lot?” You were questioning more than the reward, you were questioning the method to my madness.

Still holding your legs in my hands, “More than everything I have now.” My eyes held yours, as to almost ask if that answer was satisfactory enough.

But before you could answer, I leaned forward, pulling the anklet from the box, and gently fastened the clasp around you- thumbs brushing bare skin, the click quiet and final.

Then I looked up at you once more.

Steady. Certain.

“There.”

My voice dropped. Not a whisper. A verdict.

“Now it’ll do what I do- watch.”

I saw your throat work around it.

Then I reached behind me, tapped the embedded display panel on the table and entered a code.

The surface came to life.

Your name.

A slow-moving graph.

“Compliance Level: 82%.”

You stared. Fingers tight around the wineglass.

“Submission spike detected.”

“Vocal hesitation: 3.2 seconds.”

“Arousal marker: elevated.”

“Respiratory variance: +14%.”

You didn’t ask if it was real.

You didn’t ask if I’d had it on all along.

You didn’t ask if you could take it off.

You whispered, “What is this?”

Voice quiet. Fractured. Like you already knew.

And fuck, I loved that.

Loved how quickly you cracked under clarity.

I leaned forward back to you, slowly danced my fingers between your new anklet and your skin.

“I told you I built the audio to make you ache,” I said, voice low enough to slip beneath skin. “This tells me how deep it goes.”

The numbers kept rising. Steadily. Like your body had given permission your mouth had not caught up to.

My hands moved up your legs, to your hips, over your ribs, through your neck. Not harsh. Not demanding. Just steady. My palm slid along your jaw, thumb grazing the corner of your lips like I was checking for cracks.

“You feel that?” I murmured.

Not pointing to the screen.

To you.

The heat under your skin. The shiver in your breath. The part of you already folding without a single fucking order.

“You haven’t even knelt yet,” I said. “And look at how obedient your body already is.”

Your eyes flicked back to the screen.

“Compliance Level: 87%.”

You flinched.

And I smiled.

I stood.

Took the wine from your hand. Set it aside. Reached down and curled two fingers under your chin.

“Floor,” I said softly. “Now.”

You obeyed.

So beautifully.

Knees to the rug. Thighs tight. Mouth parted like you knew what came next.

I crouched in front of you. Ran both hands down your arms, “You look so pretty like this.”

I unbuttoned your blouse. One button at a time. Kissing each patch of skin I revealed. Not with lust. With possession.

“Soft where it matters,” my hands slid around your waist, tugged your shirt down your arms, “and empty where it counts.”

You didn’t move.

“Compliance Level: 91%.”

“You always obey,” I whispered, mouth brushing your ear. “Even when you try not to.”

I unzipped your skirt. Letting it fall from your hips.

“That’s why you’re such a good girl.”

Your thighs trembled.

“Compliance Level: 94%.”

I didn’t want your mouth.

Not tonight.

I wanted your obedience.

I extended my hand, helped you to your feet, and walked you to the mirror. Stood you there like sculpture- knees wide, spine tall, hands locked behind your head.

You weren’t naked.

But you might as well have been.

Black lace stretched over tension.

Your bra held you like a frame held a picture, your thong was just a whisper of a threat, waiting. One shift and it would give you and all your secrets away.

Your skin caught the low light in places you had not yet offered.

And that was the point.

You stood still.

Not calm. Still.

There was a difference.

I lifted your hands and left them suspended out in front of you. Your chest rising too slow to be steady.

I watched.

Just behind you. Close enough for you to feel my breath disturb the air at your nape.

Close enough that stillness became a scream.

“You’re going to hold this,” I said as I placed a rope in your hands.

“No speaking. No flinching. No asking.”

You nodded.

But that wasn’t obedience.

That was hope.

I crouched beside you. Set the phone on the floor, screen up. A mirror you couldn’t look away from.

“Compliance Level: 88%.”

Your breath caught in your throat- not from shock.

From exposure.

You weren’t scared of the number.

You were scared of what it knew.

I didn’t touch you. Not yet.

Just let my presence press in like gravity thickening around your body.

My fingers ghosted along your thigh.

Not heat. Not contact. Just frictionless promise.

And every nerve under your skin screamed for it.

You were already wet.

I could smell it.

Laced into the air like perfume made for obedience.

I dropped to my knees.

Right in front of you.

Where you could see what power looks like when it kneels just to bind you better.

“Give me the rope.”

It wasn’t a question.

You extended your arms. Slowly. Hands shaking, the rope resting across your palms like an offering.

I took it from you.

Uncoiled it without haste.

The sound of it sliding across my hands- rough, soft, inevitable.

Then I reached for your thigh.

Lifted it.

High. Bent at the knee. Braced your foot on the arm of the nearby chair so your legs opened- not wide. Not vulgar.

Vulnerable.

And I began to tie.

Each loop of the rope tight and clean against your skin.

Not just restraint.

Design.

Then I reached into the drawer beside me and pulled it out- small, sleek, black.

The vibrator.

I didn’t say a word.

Just powered it on.

Lowest setting.

Just enough hum to make your body lean toward it before it even touched.

You watched my hands move.

Watched the cord of rope now cinched around your thigh, the slack tucked, the knot firm.

And then-

I slid the vibrator beneath the rope.

Pressed the tip of it against your clit.

Over your thong.

Right where your body had already begun to pulse.

The rope held it in place.

Tight.

Merciless.

You gasped- a breath you tried to bite down.

But I saw it.

Felt it.

And the graph on the phone responded in kind, “Compliance Level: 89%.”

I looked up at you.

Still kneeling.

Voice low, calm, vicious in its quiet.

“Now hold still.”

“And let me watch what obedience does to you.”

You held.

Barely.

Your chest moved in shallow waves.

Your thighs clenched once, twice. A reflex trying to mask a need.

But a need always leaks.

I brushed two fingers along the inside of your thigh- just skin, no deeper.

And you twitched.

The kind of twitch you try to pretend didn’t happen.

“Compliance drop: -1%.”

I said nothing.

Just let my thumb follow the edge of your thong.

Not beneath. Not yet.

Just enough to let you feel the possibility bloom like panic.

Then I lifted the toy against the rope, against you, creating enough stimulation through your body that you didn’t notice me untying the rope.

I pushed it against your thigh. Low. Too low. No friction. Just the ghost of vibration.

Your whole body rippled- like the sound traveled through you before the touch did.

“Compliance drop: -3%.”

I pulled it away.

Instant. Precise. Like punishment.

And you broke- not loud.

Your lips relaxed, a soundless ache.

Despair tasted different when it came dressed as denial.

I circled behind you, slow. Watching your breath stutter as I moved.

You didn’t dare follow me with your eyes.

 Good.

I waited. Let the seconds pass like weights.

Only when your shoulders dropped half an inch- only when you stopped chasing did I return.

I brought the toy back to the inside of your thigh.

But I didn’t touch.

I hovered.

So close your skin flexed toward it. So far it never met.

Your breath hitched again- and this time, you caught it.

Held it.

And the screen pulsed.

“Compliance Level: 90%.”

I stepped behind you.

Let the toy brush the edge of your thong- enough to tease heat from silk.

But still never touching what screamed.

“You look like you’re praying,” I whispered.

My voice curled over your shoulder like silk cut from shadow.

“Like stillness is your new religion.”

And you were devout.

Your hands stayed locked.

Your spine stayed bowed.

And your body?

It trembled.

Not from fear.

From obedience.

“Do as you are told.”

92%.

“Do as you are asked.”

94%.

“Do as you are demanded.”

95%.

And when I finally passed the toy once- just once between your thighs, dragging heat where you needed it most,

You cried.

Not because I gave it to you.

But because I took it away.

You weren’t crying from pain.

You were crying from the pressure.

From the ache of discipline blooming wild under your skin.

The kind of ache that grows when nothing happens.

The toy hovered again.

Just over soaked silk. Not touching.

Not relieving.

A single vibration. Barely there.

And still—your body betrayed you.

A flicker in your thigh. A clench in your core. A pulse of desperation you didn’t authorize.

“Compliance drop: -1%.”

Your gasp was involuntary. Your stillness wasn’t.

You locked it back down.

I watched you win your battle with yourself.

God, you were perfect. The slight struggle to keep your composure.

I let the toy go silent in my palm- no warning.

The absence rang louder than the vibration ever did.

And still you didn’t beg.

You were shaking now. Entire body engaged in war.

Not with me.

With yourself.

Because I had already won.

I stepped behind you.

Pressed my chest to your back- not weight.

Reminder.

My breath spilled into the hollow of your shoulder, slow and deliberate.

“You’re suffering for me,” I whispered, “And you’re doing it so well.”

Your mouth moved. No sound.

A prayer without language.

Your hands still behind your head.

Your knees locked in place.

Your cunt pulsing against nothing.

And the data climbed.

“Compliance Level: 96%.”

I kissed the side of your neck- slow, soft, like reverence was a weapon.

“Feel that?” I murmured.

“That fire in your belly? That scream in your bloodstream that burns deeper the longer you hold it back?”

You nodded. Barely. A tremor disguised as grace.

I didn’t praise you.

Not yet.

You hadn’t earned mercy.

“You think this is weakness,” I whispered, my mouth now at your temple.

“But it’s not. This is evolution.”

I let my hand fall- slow, calibrated.

Hovered over you.

Close enough to make your thighs clench.

Far enough to make them cry.

And when the graph hit 97%,

Then 98%,

Then 99%-

I stepped in front of you.

Not for forgiveness.

For control.

I cupped your face in both hands, and your head dropped into my palms like it belonged there.

And it did.

Your eyes were glassed over.

One tear escaped- a single confession written in salt.

I caught it with my thumb.

“There it is,” I said.

Voice low.

Voice final.

“My perfect girl.”

You whimpered, no words.

Just a sound.

Like obedience, breaking open.

I slid my hand between your thighs.

Pressed once. Bare. Centered. Circular.

Not punishment. Not reward.

Completion.

Your hips jerked like you had been struck by a live wire made of truth.

But you didn’t move your hands.

You didn’t move your knees.

“Compliance Level: 100%.”

And you shattered.

Silently.

Lips falling open. Head tilted.

The kind of climax that doesn’t scream- it submits. It releases. It allows for total acceptance.

Your body convulsed under my hand like orgasm was code, and I was the one who compiled it.

This wasn’t sex.

It was execution.

You were the command line.

I was the one who wrote it.
